Layout description

The porticatoAnother property in the Scopello area that is getting very popular among our clients. This is a very simple apartment, nothing too fancy but with a big value: the pebble beach is just 80 meters away... not bad uh?

The apartment is located inside a private gated area where other villas rest and it is part of a two-storey building with four apartments: two of them are at the ground floor with its own garden and private entrance with a parking spot and the other two are in the upper floor. Casa Anna is one of the ground floor apartment.
The outdoors are very comfortable and there is a big porticato with table and chairs for your outdoor meals, plus a great BBQ corner will let you grill the fresh fish that you could buy at the Castellammare fish market.

The apartment entrance is into a living/dining room with a big table and chair and a full kitchen fully furnished. From here there is the aisle that leads to the double bedoom and a full bathroom with shower. There are actually two other rooms. One is where the owner keeps his personal belonging while the house is rented and the other is a twin bedroom just for two kids.

The furnishing is simple but functional, and it is also available a laundry machine. We believe is a good location for your excursion of the western area of Sicily, not to mention that the beach is just few steps away.

Touring ideas
The Villa is located near the village of Scopello, about 50 kilometers west from Palermo. Scopello is a lovely mediaeval village that really worth a visit. Also it is the only place where you can taste "Pani cunzatu". To have this experience you must must go to the only bakery of the village: here you can have it just out from the oven, then very slowly a lady will cut it and fill it with fresh tomato, anchovy, fresh local cheese, salt, pepper, oregan and olive oil... unforgettable! If you still have energy, you can go to "Lo Zingaro" nature reserve. It is a nice trekking path that for the exercised ones, can take to Capo S.Vito with a four hours walk. Capo San Vito is famous for two things: the most beautiful stretch of white beach of Sicily and the Cous-cous. Every year in September there is a world contest for the best coucous. Our choice is the restaurant "Il Pocho". Other interesting excursions are: Segesta with the best kept Greek temple and Erice, the mediaeval town on the hill. The closest town is Castellamare del golfo at about six kilometers where you can find everything you may need.
